Performances with KJ Dance & Cheer

All students have the opportunity to perform as part of their end of year recital (participation is optional). Dedicated students wanting additional opportunities can gain competitive and performance experience as part of KJ’s successful Performance Team. The team competes at eisteddfods and dance & cheer competitions, as well as providing entertainment at local events such as Christmas Carols and other community events. Students also have the opportunity to undertake private coaching for solo and duo work, scholarships and auditions.

KJ Dance & Cheer instructors

The dedicated and experienced teachers are committed to providing all students with a positive KJDC experience. Capped class sizes allow their teachers to offer individual attention and instruction to students.

Studio Director, Tamarah Gannon (ARAD), has 20 plus years dance teaching experience and is a graduate of the RAD Teaching Certificate Program (with Distinction). She is an affiliate of the ATOD, as well as a qualified Pilates instructor, L1 Cheer Coach and Silvers SwansTM licensee. Having danced from the age of three years, Tamarah is pleased to be able to share of love of dance, movement, and theatre with KJDC students, inspired by her own amazing teachers.

Established in 1988 by founder Karen Jacobi, KJDC is proud of our history and continues to use the KJ initials in our studio name.  Tamarah taught for Karen and was a co-director before acquiring the studio in 2018.
