Foreshore Fireworks – FREE New Year’s Eve Celebration in Redcliffe

Foreshore Fireworks New Year’s Eve is coming to the Northside! This year’s event will be part of the Redcliffe Markets and will include TWO spectacular fireworks displays.

Disclaimer: We are in the process of updating this article! This event has not been confirmed for this year yet.

Where are the NYE Foreshore Fireworks and Redcliffe Markets held?

Head down the Redcliffe Esplanade for a great NYE. There’s limited parking in the area and on the surrounding streets but please be mindful of both parking signs AND parking over people’s driveways and lawns. Make sure you treat the area respectfully so that all can enjoy the celebration! See the details about the shuttle bus service below.

NYE Foreshore Fireworks and Markets Start Time

The Fireworks are TBC for 2023

However, there will be lots to do before and after the fireworks – things that will keep the whole family entertained. From 5pm ‘til 10pm you’ll be able to meander amongst a market wonderland brimming with treasures and trinkets, gourmet street food and plenty of free entertainment for little kids and big kids alike. Featuring the very best of SE Qld’s gourmet market eats – rest assured there’ll be no shortage of treats!

Families Tip: To stay on top of all the activities follow their event on Facebook.

Like anything that is fantastically fun for families, it will be busy, so make a plan, head to your ‘spot’ reasonably early and have an exit strategy!

Parking

Limited parking is available in the surrounding streets to Foreshore Fireworks. You are advised to arrive early & be mindful of local residents when parking. Our advice is to utilise public transport (www.translink.com.au).

Road closures are required and have to be implemented in the interest of public safety, which therefore leaves some parking restrictions.  We would like to remind you that traffic will be busy during your visit to Foreshore Fireworks, therefore, we strongly recommend you allow extra time when planning your trip to the event.

Remember that sometimes little ears can be sensitive to fireworks! We recommend investing in some child-friendly headphones or some ear muffs to make the night more enjoyable for tiny tots. You’ll also definitely need to stock up on things like insect spray and be aware that, even in the fading light, it’s well worth your while to apply sunscreen to yourself and your little people.
