North of Brisbane Farm Stays
Cedarton Sanctuary
A lovely farmstay near Maleny, Cedarton Sanctuary is a great place to take your family. 100 acres, horses, cows, sheep, pigs, hens, ducks and Swagga the cat. Sleeps 10 however can easily sleep more if needed. In ground pool, tree house, the kids love collecting eggs in the morning and afternoon plus feeding the animals. 20 mins to Australia Zoo, 30 mins to Caloundra, Maleny, amazing waterfalls and a great forestry walks 15 minutes away.
Woodford Folk festival is only 10 mins away. Min 3 night stay, you can either book upstairs only or the whole house and have family and friends.

Wittacork Dairy Cottages
Wittacork offers a choice of 4 cottages including the farmhouse for your family stay. Set on a high ridge that overlooks Lake Baroon and surrounding rainforests in Obi Obi Gorge national park, you will no doubt enjoy your time exploring the 300 acres of land and forests on offer.

At Wattle Gully you can choose from 2 cabins sleeping 3 and 5 guests respectively, or stay in the farmhouse which can sleep up to 14 guests.

Brockhurst Farm Stay
Brockhurst has a choice of 4 cabins ranging from 4-10 guests depending on your choice of cabin. Each cabin has a beautiful view and individual fire pits for a starlit night by the fire. Your family dog is also welcome to join you during your stay and your children will love feeding the horses, pony riding, and perhaps even a ride on the quad bike.

Bestbrook Mountain Resort Farm Stays
Bestbrook has a wide offering of 9 cabins ranging from maximum guest totals of 4-8 depending on your choice of cabin. There is also plenty of space to camp and caravan, or for large groups the on-site village bunkhouse has 20 rooms each with 3 beds.
There is plenty for the family to enjoy here with trail rides for adults and children and parent led horse rides for littlies 2-7 years. Destiny Boonah Eco Cottages and Donkey Farm
Located on 200 acres of bushland you will discover 2 beautiful, eco-certified cottages. Both are solar powered and completely off the main power grid so the only footprints you will leave on the farm are those of your own two feet.
Red cottage can host up to 7 people while Green cottage can host up to 4. This property is located on the scenic rim which is visible from the front of the cottages as the beginnings of a lush green mountain range.
There are many animals roaming freely on the farm as it is a dedicated space for animal conservation so children will be able to enjoy the beauty of life in all its phases. If you would like to see the donkeys and learn more about them you can book in to visit them at the stables.

The Woolshed at Jondaryan
There are a large selection of stays to suit your family at The Woolshed with shearer’s quarters sleeping 5 people per room, cottages and cabins ranging from maximums of 2-6 guests, and camping/caravan sites across the property with both powered and unpowered available.
The property is home to a heritage-listed woolshed which is also the oldest and largest in the world at over 150 years of age. There is plenty to do here with an onsite museum, café/restaurant, animals to feed, shearing, horse and cart rides, an open fire pit and bush kitchen.
Once a month the owners host an old time dance at the Flagstone Creek Public Hall, also located on the property. The added bonus is that your family dog can come and enjoy the experience too and the kids will love playing in the paddocks and searching for bubbling brooks in the bush.

Fordsdale Farm Stay
Fordsdale offers their farmhouse with room for a maximum of 10 people or ‘bush camping’ in your choice of location across the 1000 acre property. The kids will get a real feel for what life is like in the bush as they play in the creek, walk down wild tracks and check out the roaming animals such as goats and horses.
If you like the camping experience this is an inexpensive option for a great farm stay. Horse riding packages are also available and your family dog is welcome alongside your own horse (if you have one.) Otherwise, enjoy a ride on one of Fordsdale’s well-kept horses and enjoy the scent of fresh air.

Cedar Glen Farm Stay
This historic farm stay is located on 1050 acres. It is a 4th generation farm in the ‘lost world,’ within the Lamington National Park. Take your pick from 3 cottages or stay in the homestead which houses from 2 to 8+ guests at a time. Your family will love feeding the animals, egg collecting, cow milking, swimming, playing tennis on the courts, horse riding and river-fishing.
They can also get involved in whip cracking and boomerang throwing lessons, or take a ride up to the top of the nearby mountain by 4WD to enjoy the view by twilight. Families can also be fully catered for with delicious fresh produce meal packages on offer.

Your family won’t want to leave this 180-acre historic working farm in Springbrook. With horses, goats, sheep, calves and wide open spaces to roam, Echo Valley Farm Cottage is an absolute gem. Best of all it’ll give your family a time to explore and appreciate the beauty of farm life.
Echo Valley Farm Cottage is very close to World Heritage Springbrook National Park, which is part of the Gondwana Rainforest. So if incredible waterfalls and stunning landscape is your thing, you’ve hit the jackpot.
Your hosts Rozie and David are also incredibly generous of time and spirit and aren’t intrusive. The accommodation is also very comfortable and spacious.

Tommerup’s Dairy Farm Stay
Tommerup’s is a 6th generation dairy farm which is still going strong. The littlies will be able to enjoy milking cows, feeding animals, collecting eggs, farm walks, fishing, picnics by the creeks and rivers, and enjoying the freedom of farm life.
There is a cottage to house 7-9 guests or you can stay in the old homestead which fits 10-12 people.

Clandullah Cottages and Farm Stay
There are 4 cottages to choose from at Clandullah with maximum guest numbers ranging from 3-6 per residence.
Here you will enjoy real ‘country hospitality’ from the self-contained cottages dappled across the property. The newly renovated Abbotsford Barn is available for large parties or functions with space for a band. The bar too will be ready for service all at the base of Mt Tambourine.
Your little ones will enjoy feeding the animals, collecting eggs, cuddling furry creatures, admiring the peacocks and native animals as they roam freely about the farm, and even visiting nearby ‘Witches Falls,’ ‘hanggliding’ for the older kids, and perhaps some hot air ballooning.
