Head to Witton Barracks Open Day on Saturday, 31st August, 9.30am-2pm to celebrate the local community.
There will be a smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country (at 9.30am), plus delicious food, live music, kids’ activities including a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon twisting, and a magic show (at 12.30pm), as well as history tours and market stalls.
Enjoy incredible social enterprises such as Fruit2Work, Yoga on the Inside, Nundah, Sobah and Hello Good World (to name just a few) who will be there to share more about the incredible work they do and showcase some of their products.
Go along and discover this newly renovated historic WW2 site and what it has to offer.
