Winter Solstice Festival | Windsor

Winter Solstice Festival

Northey Street City Farm have been celebrating the Winter Solstice for over 25 years with an annual festival. The Winter Solstice Festival will spark your senses, ignite your curiosities and feed the fire in your bellies on Saturday 22 June 2023 from 3pm-10:30pm.

Step into a world of connection and contemplation on the longest night of the year. Immerse yourself in permaculture talks, gardening workshops, thought-provoking panel discussions, arts, markets and activities for the whole family. Our pop-up markets will offer an array of culinary delights and dining experiences, a true reflection of the diverse flavours of our community.

When the sun goes down, join us for a crackling bonfire, solstice ceremony and the annual lantern parade.

You can also get involved with lantern-making, mud play, glow-in-the-dark coral polyps, poetry open mic and activities to bring your creativity to life! With around 30 stalls selling a selection of delicious food, drinks, handmade items and more, there will be plenty of things to look at and catch your fancy.
