St Peters Lutheran College Open Day
3 August, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Going More Beyond St Peters Lutheran College
At St Peters Lutheran College our motto is Plus Ultra which means ‘ever higher’ and ‘more beyond’. Plus Ultra urges our staff and students to strive for excellence in everything they do. It encourages them to think beyond the curriculum, provide opportunities beyond the ordinary and to explore what lies beyond.
St Peters is Brisbane’s pre-eminent co-educational day and boarding school providing an outstanding holistic education underpinned by Christian values.
From Prep to Year 12 each child learns and grows through innovative curriculum and teaching, and we encourage them to think critically and creatively and to become and life-long learners.
Located on 52 leafy acres in Brisbane’s inner west, St Peters offers students unrivalled opportunities in academics, digital technologies, sports and music, all of which encourage them to lead lives that are beyond the sum of these parts.
The comprehensive cocurricular Sport program provides facilities, equipment and coaching for over 25 sports. St Peters is a member of the Queensland Girls Secondary Schools Sports Association (QGSSSA) and Associated Independent Colleges (AIC) and students also participate in inter-Lutheran school competitions throughout the year.
Music is an integral part of student life at St Peters and our College is recognised for having one of the best music programs in Australia. Students can participate in choirs, bands and string ensembles and they have opportunities to tour and perform both nationally and internationally.
Other cocurricular activities offered at St Peters include our iconic Ironbark Outdoor Education Program, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and our Digital program comprising robotics, eSports, drones and coding.
At St Peters we want our students to have the courage to seek new horizons and the compassion to make a difference in a rapidly changing world.
Discover how your child can go more beyond with a St Peters Lutheran College education.
