Revive Second-hand Fashion Festival | Brisbane | 25 October, 2020
25 October, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
Feast on fashion … and food trucks! Don’t miss Revive Second-hand Fashion Festival, a fun and FREE, fashion-focused program of activities featuring markets, runway shows, workshops, live entertainment as well as delicious bites from some of Brisbane’s best food trucks.
Textile waste is a growing problem, with 6000kgs of unwanted clothing being sent to landfill every 10 minutes in Australia. Learn how to upcycle a pair of leggings, scarf or fabric into cute hair accessories, use simple techniques to transform a tablecloth into a circle skirt, and make your old jeans “pop” with patches. These fun, hands on workshops will all be part of the fun at Revive Second-hand Fashion Festival. Bookings are required.
Festival highlights include:
- Hannah Klose from Never Ever Pay Retail, Sally Steele from Steele My Style and Harriet Nixon will be sharing their secrets to successful thrifting and styling
- dozens of second-hand clothing and charity vendors
- live music and runway shows
- workshops to teach you how to create new things from old things.
Discover your unique style at this year’s Revive Second-hand Fashion Festival and take your learnings with you next time you shop.
