Redcliffe KiteFest features an entire weekend of non-stop fun and entertainment! On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 2022 from 9am-4pm, KiteFest will transform Pelican Park, Clontarf into the ultimate family-friendly weekend with national and international kite displays, entertainment, live music, activities and workshops, market and food stalls, and so much more!
Redcliffe KiteFest is renowned for delivering world-class kite displays and in 2022, will once again play host to professional kite flyers in the Kite Flying Arena. Each day from 9am-4pm the sky will fill with kites of all shapes and sizes as some of the world’s best kite flyers come together to show off their kites and kite flying abilities!
Redcliffe KiteFest and the Sesame Lane Main Stage will also present favourite BLUEY to perform two shows twice daily. And don’t miss the hugely popular Hot Wheels Stunt Team with their huge Hot Wheels Semi-Trailer and Kids Fun Zone!
There is plenty for the kids to see and do at this year’s KiteFest with the inclusion of the KiteFest Kids Zone, Kids Karnival, the Ocean Zone and the Public Kite Flying Arena! The Kids Zone is bursting with fun, colour, and entertainment and features a range of free and low-cost activities for children of all ages to enjoy.
Kids Karnival will keep the excitement going with amusement rides, showbags and so much more! The Ocean Zone will have you in awe of the thrilling aerobatic stunts performed high in the sky and the colourful kites floating over the water. If watching the kites isn’t enough you can also practice your kite flying skills in the Public Flying Arena with your own kite from home or one you have made on the day in our kite making workshops.
