Puppet Town | South Brisbane
19 December, 2023 - 21 January, 2024
Get ready for a puppet extravaganza! The puppets have taken over The Corner at the State Library and built their very own city, so head along to Puppet Town from 10am–12:30pm! Play your way through the town, visiting the post office, café or park and create even more puppet residents to populate this thriving city. Discover fun ways to craft your very own puppets and creative ideas to keep exploring at home.
From 12pm each day families can experience a special puppet show and tell facilitated by the State Library of Queensland team of clever storytellers and starring the residents of Puppet Town! Jump on the stage and bring your story to life or join in as part of the audience- some light-hearted fun for all ages.
No booking required for this free activity. Just drop in to have some fun. Please note: all children must be accompanied by an adult during these activities.
Puppet town will be available every day of the school holidays excluding public holidays on 25 and 26 December 2023 and 1 January 2024. Keep up to date on this event here.
