Musical School Holiday Activities | Pine Rivers

Celebrate Make Music Month at Pine Rivers Heritage Museum these winter school holidays! Get your groove on as you try out musical instruments, enjoy craft activities and check out Pine Rivers Heritage Museum’s new Imaginarium.
Strum a guitar, beat the drums or even try out a violin at the interactive musical instrument petting zoo. Make your own kind of music as you jive and boogie.
Then make your own musical instrument at the craft station. Get creative and make a mini harmonica, a musical shaker, or a drum to take home.
Make sure you check out the new Wheelz Imaginarium. This intergenerational and interactive play space is investigating the wheel and how it has shaped history.
Can you think of a musical instrument that is shaped like a wheel? Share your ideas with the friendly museum staff to get a special sticker.
The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
