Make a Light Catcher | Brisbane CBD

30 March - 14 April

$2 – $5
Make a Light Catcher

Light up your day by making your very own light catcher at the Museum of Brisbane these school holidays!

Want to try your hand at being a glass artist without worrying about all the sharp edges? Be inspired by Leadlight Craftsman Julian Podmore as you make your very own light catcher to take home!

Drop in during school holidays between 10:30am-1:30pm and try your hand at using collage techniques to create a unique design that will bounce beautiful colours all over your house.

Just like the beautiful stained glass windows you would find in an old Queenslander home, these suncatchers are fun way to experiment with light, colours and creativity and perfect for the whole family to try!

  • Saturday 30 March – Sunday 14 April between 10:30am–1:30pm
  • $2 each or $5 for 3 light catchers
  • Museum of Brisbane, The Studio, Level 3, City Hall
