Great Australian Bites Redlands

Celebrate Australia Day on Redlands Coast with friends, family, home grown entertainment and a feast of local food. There are a heap of FREE family fun events being held across 4 locations including Cleveland, Wellington Point, Capalaba, and Mount Cotton.

Great Australian Bites Cleveland

Head to Raby Bay Foreshore Park, Masthead Drive, Cleveland from 11am to 3pm on Tuesday 26 January.

With free entry, stalls filled with delectable cuisine prepared by local food producers, popular food trucks, and lively entertainment from home grown musicians, Great Australian Bites is the perfect way to enjoy the Australian summer in a fun and relaxed picnic style atmosphere.

Redlands Coast’s thriving food scene will be showcased with cooking demonstrations from celebrity chef Alastair McLeod.

The event features a great line up of live and local entertainment including performances by Indigenous singer, songwriter and musician Chris Tamwoy, and a range of local artists.

To meet COVID safety requirements, the event is restricted to 1,500 people at a time throughout the day. Event attendees will need to scan in and out of the event using the dedicated event QR code.

Great Australian Bites Wellington Point

Head to Wellington Point Recreation Reserve from 11am to 3pm for live entertainment, and Australia Day activities including BYP thong throwing, egg and spoon races and lawn games. Capacity will be restricted to meet COVID requirements.

Great Australian Bites Capalaba

From 11am to 3pm Capalaba Regional Park will host a family friendly Geckoes Wildlife Show, Mini Moshers Stage Show, circus acts plus Australia Day activities. Capacity will be restricted to meet COVID requirements.

Great Australian Bites Mount Cotton

Mount Cotton Community Park will come alive from 11am to 3pm this Australia Day with live music, a comedy magic show, the Geckoes Wildlife Show and fun Australia Day activities. Capacity will be restricted to meet COVID requirements.
