Dog Lovers Festival | South Brisbane
9 March - 10 March
The Dog Lovers Show has grown to become one of the largest events in the world dedicated to educating, entertaining and inspiring dog lovers.
The festival will return to Brisbane on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March 2024 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 9:30am to 5pm daily. It will run alongside (but in separate halls) the inaugural Brisbane Cat Lovers Festival! The event will be bursting with attractions, and it will be one of the best value days out in Brisbane as once you walk through the door everything to see and do is FREE!
Here’s a snapshot of the event:
1. Meet and interact with more than 500 beautiful dogs over the weekend represented by 100+ breeds spread across Pat-A-Pooch, InstaPooch, the Adoption Zone and the Breed Showcase;
2. Performances from talented dogs in the Arena including The Wonderdogs and Dave Grahams ‘Extreme High Jumping Dogs’ with tips for a healthier, happier hound on the Main Stage from leading dog and animal experts including Dr Katrina Warren, Kelly Gill and lots more to be announced soon;
3. Get in the SPLASHZONE as Australia’s most talented aquatic dogs launch themselves into our massive 100,000-litre pool in the Antinol® DockDogs competition;
4. Shop & save with 1,000s of the latest and greatest products and services to spoil your pooch plus exclusive Show Specials and New Product launches;
5. See, compare and cuddle a wide range of beautiful dogs in the Breed Showcase presented by DOGS Queensland Breed Clubs with talks on the Ask-A-Breeder Stage;
6. In the Pat-A-Pooch zone you can interact with a range of dog breeds with a handler providing trusted, reliable information on each dog;
7. Meet dozens of beautiful Dogs needing a fur-ever home in the Adoption Zone plus watch some of Australia’s biggest K9 internet stars strut their stuff down the InstaPooch pink carpet on the Main Stage;
8. Chow Chow down with a wide range of cafes and bars throughout the Festival;
9. And for those cat-loving dog owners, the Brisbane Cat Lovers Festival will be running next door at the same time and you get FREE ENTRY when you show your Dog Lovers Festival ticket!
