Welcome to a world of pure imagination with this delightful Broadway and West End musical inspired by Roald Dahl’s famous novel. “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” features an original score that pays tribute to the 1971 film, including beloved songs such as “Candy Man,” “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket,” “Oompa Loompa Song,” and “Pure Imagination.”

The legendary Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his enigmatic factory, but only for a fortunate few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a transformative journey through Wonka’s whimsical world, complete with chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels, and an army of curious Oompa-Loompas.

“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” offers a chance to be part of a crowd-pleasing, vibrant ensemble musical with a wealth of delightful roles. Redcliffe Musical Theatre is pleased to reunite the award-winning duo of Madeleine Johns as Director and Rhonda Davidson-Irwin as Musical Director for this cherished, family-friendly production.

The cast features local talent Gary Farmer-Trickett alternating with Anthony Van Stam in the role of Willy Wonka, alongside Auden Ryan, known for his role in “Boy Swallows Universe,” as Charlie Bucket.
