Bug Detectives | Chermside West

Meet some of the Environment Centre’s resident insects and other mini-beasts at a fun bug show, then test out your detective skills on a short walk investigating bugs and their habitats. What will we find living nearby? Join this one-of-a-kind school holiday activity to discover fascinating facts about bugs and other mini-beasts and find out why these amazing animals are nature’s superheroes!
- Time: 10am – 11am
- Location: Downfall Creek Bushland Centre, 815 Rode Road, Chermside West
- Requirements: Arrive 10 mins before starting time. All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult. Wear sun-safe clothing and fully enclosed shoes. Bring insect repellant and sunscreen for later outdoor use, but please ensure you don’t have any on your hands when meeting or touching the friendly bugs!
