We are delighted to present a diverse and inspiring line-up of internationally bestselling authors for Word Play this year. Word Play is Brisbane Writers Festival’s education program for young readers, writers and storytellers from Prep to Year 12.
Now in its 17th year, Word Play invites students to grow and experiment with their creativity and immerse themselves in the magic of story with Australia’s leading writers and artists. We also offer a supportive space for teachers to build new skills to confidently approach literacy in the classroom.
