BaconFest | Kingaroy – POSTPONED TO 2022

UPDATE: The Kingaroy Baconfest has been postponed to August 2022.
The Kingaroy BaconFest is a sizzling food festival back from 20-22 August 2021. It’s a celebration of all that you love about the Aussie Pig and puts bacon and pork centre stage.
Enjoy the food market where vendors have bacon or pork on the menu; explore the South Burnett’s local wine & produce and embrace the fun and quirky nature of this annual event! Porky punters can look forward to cooking demonstrations by Australia’s favourite Spaniard, pork-loving celebrity chef Miguel Maestre, My Kitchen Rules stars, Dan & Steph and local Food Ambassador, Chef Jason Ford.
There will be live music on the main stage throughout the day, photo opportunities with crowd-favourite, BaconMan; a bacon-eating comp and even a BaconFest Pin-Up Pageant and Best Beard of BaconFest!
Visit the Little Piggies children’s area for under 12s or purchase local produce from the South Burnett Flavours Farmers Market which is coordinated by the Farm2Fork Collective.
For those who love ‘low and slow’, an official round of the Australasian BBQ Alliance Championship Series 2021 will be held at BaconFest – the sizzling SunPork Smoke-Off.
If arts, crafts and handmade beauties is your thing, the Kingaroy Friendship Markets [/Kingaroy Show Society] will be hosting the BaconFest Community Markets, just a short stroll from the bustling BaconFest precinct. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
