Places to Go on An Easter Egg Hunt in Brisbane

Who’s up for a Brisbane Easter egg hunt?! Is there anything more essentially Easter than a good old fashioned Easter egg hunt? We just love seeing the kid’s faces light up each time they discover another egg hidden away.

We’re extra egg-cited to flex our egg hunting paws and hop along to one of the big Brisbane Easter egg hunts happening in and around river city. Here’s our list of favourite Brisbane Easter egg hunt events this year!

Brisbane Easter Egg Hunt 2024

Saturday 23 March, 9am-12pm

Easter Eggstravaganza: Marsden, Toowoomba

Hop on over to Imagine Childcare & Kindergarten Marsden for their Easter Eggstravaganza! Join them for some eggciting activities including egg hunts, games, arts and crafts, jumping castle, a petting zoo, and food and beverages. Keep an eye out for a very special visit from the Easter Bunny 👀

Easter egg hunt: Jimboomba

Hop along to Jimboomba Central on Saturday, 23 March 2024 for an eggcellent, eggstravagant, and eggciting Easter egg hunt 2024!

Don’t miss out on the Easter Bunny, Easter Chicken, and Roving Easter themed characters on roller-skates.

Portside Wharf Easter Market: Hamilton

Get egg-citied for free workshops, petting zoo, live music and other delights at the family-friendly Portside Wharf Easter Market, hosted by The Market Folk on Saturday March 23, from 10am to 2pm.

You’re sure to keep the kids entertained, with an adorable line-up of furry friends making their way to the precinct, a guest appearance from the Easter Bunny, and a series of free epic Easter slime making workshops from 10am to 2pm.

Enjoy live music, as you browse more than 35 stallholders returning to the precinct for the special Easter Market, bringing with them one-of-a-kind and unique offerings in beauty, handmade jewellery, ceramic and art pieces, toys and craft, homewares, plants, and much more.

Have a hop-tastic Easter egg hunt and Neighbour Day 2024 on the 24th of March, from 9 – 11:30 am at Teralba Park, Everton Park!

The spectacular Easter egg hunt—seek hidden treasures, and you might encounter the Easter Bunny himself! Don’t forget to bring your Easter baskets.

Your little ones are in for a treat with free face painting, entertaining games, and various exciting activities. This is a day packed with joy and laughter that you won’t want to miss!

Hop into Woolcock Park for an egg-citing adventure this Easter!

Easter egg hunt: Dakabin

Join the Easter Bunny and your local MP’s Steven Miles & Shane King for a fun-filled morning at Bob Brock Park Dakabin. Coffee, breakfast, and raffle tickets will be on sale to support the North Pine Sports Club.

Check in is from 10am and the hunt will start at 11am.

Scarborough Easter Twilight Market: Scarborough

Hop on down to Scarborough Easter Twilight Market with heaps of Easter family fun available! On the Saturday 30 March from 12pm to 6pm!

  • Free Easter egg treasure hunt with clues and chocolate galore
  • Free Entertainment provided by our talented locals
  • Free Easter Bunny meet and greet
  • Food trucks, artisan products, stalls featuring hand made treasures and home made goodies.

Beelarong Great Easter Egg Hunt: Morningside

Beelarong Community Farm’s Great Easter egg hunt will take place on Saturday 30 March! Kids will look for Easter eggs in the garden and even get a chance to cuddle a chicken! You will also be able to join a farm tour. 

Open to children aged 1 to 10 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Join one of our two sessions:
– Session 1 : from 1 to 2pm
– Session 2 : from 2 to 3pm

Places are limited to 20 children per session so please register here as soon as possible.

Hop into NewDirection Care for some fun this Easter school holidays! Join them for an Easter egg hunt and Easter hat craft activity on Tuesday the 9th of April from 10am to 11am.

This event is free for the public. RSVP to this event is encouraged, as to assist with catering numbers. Food and drink will be available for purchase from The Neighbourhood Café.

Plan yourself an egg-cellent weekend at Victoria Park for the Easter Long Weekend, with plenty of fun for chocolate lovers of all ages! Indulge in Easter-inspired food and drinks specials, meet the Easter Bunny (31 March), do an Easter egg trail, hop your way through a game of Putt Putt or bounce around the giant games area and jumping castle. Get ready for an eggstravagant weekend!

Easter Long Weekend: Everton Park Hotel
