Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School is part of the Independent Public Schools initiative and caters for students from Prep to Year 6. The campus provides a safe, supportive and caring environment focused on achieving high levels of learning for all students.

The school guides students to help achieve their potential through a range of academic, sporting, musical and cultural programs, and other extra-curricular activities.

Curriculum and Extracurricular activities offered:

Camp Hill Infants and Primary School incorporates the Australian Curriculum in English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography, along with the Education Queensland Key Learning Areas of the Arts, health and Physical Education, and Languages Other Than English (LOTE ) in which the students learn German.

The school also promotes an understanding of Asian culture, history and language, with students learning Mandarin from Year 1. In Years 5-6, Mandarin is studied as their LOTE subject.

There are several programs to address literacy and numeracy, an information technology program for all year levels, and focused reading. The school also have specialist Learning Support programs, and a program for Gifted Education.

Camp Hill State School has a strong physical education and sporting program that includes cricket, Australian Rules football, soccer, and futsal. Swimming lessons are held in Terms 1 and 4 for all students in Years 1-6. Students also take part in Run Club, Interschool sports, and representative sports at district/regional/state/national levels.

Students take part in AusDance from Prep through to Year 6. Prep to Year 3 students learn Hip Hop, classic progressive dances, disco, international dances and also develop cultural and indigenous awaress. In Years 4-6, students learn international and disco styles along with a Hip Hop routine that they perform at the annual Dance Disco in Term 4. There is also an aerobics/dance/Glee/cheer program for both boys and girls.

The music program is also strong with a class music program, tuition in strings and orchestral instruments, a ukelele group and Junior, Senior and Boys Choirs. Students also take part in band camps (Junior and Senior), the Spring Celebration of the Arts (all students) and the biannual School Musical.

Facilities at Camp Hill State School:

The school has a 25 metre pool on campus.
