    How do I use the Families Magazine Christmas Lights Map?

    Simply open the map and select Region, your starting location or tap Use My Location.
    The map automatically reorders all displays from nearest to farthest, giving you the most efficient driving route.
    You can also filter by multiple houses, walk-throughs, “worth the drive”, and competition entries.Showing-map-filters

    What do the “Competition” houses mean on the map?

    Some homes participate in local Christmas Lights competitions.
    These are marked with the 🏆 Competition Entry badge and can be filtered using the Competition Only checkbox.

    Why does the map show the suburb under each address?

    Suburb visibility helps families quickly see which displays are closest to home and makes route planning easier.
    Your map now shows Address + Suburb in both the popup and the listings.

    Can I see photos of each Christmas light display?

    Yes – if a home has shared photos, they appear under the popup as Photo 1, Photo 2, Photo 3, etc., and open in a new tab.
    Many homes upload fresh photos throughout the month.

    Why does the map sometimes reorder itself after I pick a starting point?

    The map uses haversine distance to detect the closest display to your starting location.
    This ensures the sequence flows naturally and you don’t waste time backtracking.

    Can I remove stops from my Christmas Lights route?

    Yes – each popup has a “Remove from route” button.
    This is useful if a display is too busy, closed for the night, or you’ve already visited it earlier in the season.

    Does the map work on iPhone and Android?

    Absolutely – the map is fully mobile-optimised.
    When you tap Directions, iPhone opens Apple’s Google Maps preview but loads driving directions immediately after selecting “Start”.

    Can I save or bookmark the map for later?

    Yes – tap the ⭐ Bookmark button under the map header and your browser will save it.
    We also show a helpful prompt for iPhone, Android, and desktop users.

    How can I access the offline printable Christmas Lights maps?

    Along with our interactive map, Families Magazine also publishes offline printed Christmas Lights maps that you can save to your phone or print at home.

    4. CABOOLTURE- There are a couple of houses down the end of Jensen Road, Caboolture which are lovely. In the same estate/neighbourhood and just around the corner is Kleo Court almost all the residents have their houses decorated.

      Full size 2×3 metre long sleigh for adults and kids to use. Step at back of the sleigh for easier access kiss under the mistletoe while your in the sleigh.
      A chimney on the roof! Full front room is village display and garage is a projector screen display is based on inflatables it’s a must see. And photo opportunity
