Centenary Rocks Festival Seventeen Mile Rocks

The Centenary Rocks Festival is the jewel in the Western suburbs of Brisbane’s crown. The event, which has been held since 2004, will be held again this year at Rocks Riverside Park.

What to expect at the Festival

This year there is an awesome line up for families across Brisbane, and with free entry and many free activities available for the whole family, what other excuse do you need to head on over to the Western suburbs to join the fun!

There will be exciting performers including Phil Emmanuel, Tim Gaze, the Smokin Crawdads and the Little Steeley Brothers.

There will be ‘Life Be in it’ activities to ensure everyone gets involved from all ages – kids to seniors!

There is a free animal farm too!

Food on Offer at Festival

With a wide variety of food stalls at this years Centenary Rocks festival the only problem you will have is deciding what food to tantalise your taste-buds with!

Choices from around the world including; Wood fired pizza, German sausages, American smoked BBQ brisket and pork, Indian Curries, Hungarian Langos, the humble burger, Seafood, Healthy wraps, quiche, soup and fresh salads. Not to forget the traditional festival fare – fish and chips, potato twisters, dagwood dogs, hot dogs and chicken kebabs.

Snacks and treats including ice creams, frozen yoghurt, slushies, fairy floss, chocolate covered fruit skewers, fruit, waffles and funnel cakes will also be available.

Whether you require gluten free, vegan or vegetarian, there is something for everyone at ‘Centenary Rocks!’

There will be a licensed area to relax with a cool drink to enjoy your meal with not forgetting an afternoon or morning coffee or tea to have with a sweet treat.

The massive fireworks finale on the Saturday night, starting at 6.30pm, will definitely thrill the family.

When is the Centenary Rocks Festival being held?

The festival will be held on Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 of July 2016 at Rocks Riverside Park – Counihan Rd, Seventeen Mile Rocks.

Saturday starts at 10.00am and concludes after the fireworks at 6.30pm, Sunday begins at 10.00am and finishes at 4.00pm.
