Chermside Leisure Centre Pool, Chermside
- Address: 375 Hamilton Rd, Chermside
- Cost: Family (2 adults, 2 children) $57
The Chermside Pool and Aqua Park has open top slide through the jungle, twisting fully enclosed slide, tube tunnel slide, shotgun slide, jumping lily pads, calmer area for younger children.

Newmarket pool

Newmarket Pool has an Olympic sized 50m outdoor pool, a covered and heated outdoor 25m pool and an indoor heated programs pool. Children will love the animal-themed splash pad with water-drop buckets and fountains, the twisty slides and giant slides, and the wading pool with mushroom features.
If you want to make a day of it there are barbecues and picnic tables on site next to the playground and lawn area, a snack kiosk, and merry-go-round, or you could even indulge in some quiet relaxation on your own when you drop your children at the air-conditioned crèche!

Sandgate Aquatic Centre

Sandgate Aquatic Centre has a heated outdoor and indoor pool. Your young children will be thrilled by the wading pool and underwater themed water play areas.
For those watchful parents, there is a coffee kiosk available on the site.

Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre

Hibiscus Sports Complex

Hibiscus Sports Complex boasts a 50m heated pool, two indoor heated pools, a kids play pool and a new 20m twisting water slide! There is also a cafe available on site for you to grab a quick coffee or a cheeky snack!

Jindalee Pool

The Jindalee Pool features a 50m heated outdoor pool, a learn to swim pool and a kids water play area. The site also includes a shaded leisure area and a cafe!

The Plantation Aquatic Centre, Gumdale
- Address: 1204 New Cleveland Rd, Gumdale
- Cost: Family (2 adults, 2 children) $18
The Plantation Aquatic Centre boasts a large catalogue of things to do, including an activities pool, slides, pirate ship, play frames, toddler pool and a playground. Their kiosk provides both foods and drinks, and there is access to free electric BBQ’s for your picnic needs.

Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks
- Address: 531 Seventeen Mile Rocks Road, Seventeen Mile Rocks (best entrance for parking is off Counihan Rd.)

Rocks Riverside Park features water pools that are perfect for younger kids. Water flows between rock pools and is sure to fascinate the little ones. For those slightly more active kids, there is an area of pop up fountains where they can run around to their hearts content. There is also a paddling pool (0.3m depth) so they can really get wet!

Streets Beach, South Bank

Streets Beach South Bank is an iconic Brisbane venue right in the heart of the city. Where else in the world would you find a beach in the city?! Patrolled beach, different depth pools, interactive splash n play area, tipping buckets, fountains, interactive water jets, water puzzles.

Wynnum Whale Park, Wynnum
- Address: The Esplanade, Wynnum
- Cost: FREE
The Wynnum Whale Park is an area of fountains and waterplay, complete with a giant tipping bucket, which the big kids will love. Water is piped up to a large suspended bucket, and when the bucket is full, it tips over spilling water over the kids below. This is a huge hit with big kids!
For smaller kids, canals and water blocks have been built into the ground to allow the water flow and be blocked off by budding engineers. There is also a boat and whale to climb over that are sprayed with water. Parents can sit (dry and shaded!) beside this area on astro turf.

Logan Gardens Water Park

The Logan Gardens Water Park is the perfect water play space for children of all ages! With water jets, waterfalls, mist sprayers, bubblers, and fountains to entertain your little ones for hours! And best of all, its free!

Moreton Bay Region water parks
As well has having access to some awesome beaches (we wrote about our favourite beaches here), Moreton Bay doesn’t mess around when it comes to delivering some awesome water parks and water play areas for their residents.
Redcliffe Lagoon, Redcliffe
- Address: Settlement Cove, Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe
- Cost: FREE
As well as the large, deep(ish) lagoon at Settlement Cove, there is a very shallow water with water jets, toadstools and happy bugs that squirt water – much to the delight of any child playing with them. The wading pool and nearby high-quality children’s play area, accompanied by shaded seating and eating spots, makes this a great place for some manageable time with little ones.

Ferny Grove Aqua Park
- Address: Upper Kedron Rd, Keperra
- Cost: FREE
The Ferny Grove Aqua Park is a great place for the whole family to enjoy! The park features a level splash pad area which provides access for all with elevated water-play elements including a huge water bucket, small tipping buckets, spray tunnel, water cannons, and an overhead spray feature.
If you would like to make a day of it, there’s a park and playground next door, where you can relax, play some ball games and have a picnic.

The Mill Park and Waterpark, Petrie
- Address: 1 Moreton Parade, Petrie
- Cost: FREE
The Mill Park and Water Park is suitable for children of all ages, there is no ‘pool’ but simply an array of interactive water play equipment delivering cool, fresh water. Here you will find spouts that kids can twirl around to squirt each other, an in-ground ‘river’ for toddlers to follow and a large tipping bucket for the bigger kids.
The waterpark is mostly well shaded and there is a large purpose build shade area with seating areas right beside it. There is also benches and seats around the water however not all are shaded.
