Looking for an all-weather swim venue that offers fun the whole year round? Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre has four pools, spray-based water play for kiddies, lap swimming pool, swimming lessons and more!

What’s there?

The Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre is managed by the YMCA and has four pools. The 25 metre competition pool is heated to 28 degrees and is perfect for lap swimmers, while the Learn To Swim pool is heated to 31 degrees and open during school terms and for booster swimming programs during the school holidays. There’s a beautiful play pool–the Outdoor Lagoon Pool–which has a sloping beach style entry (perfect for wheelchair access!) and lots of fun water fountains to splash around in. Little ones can play in a specially designed Toddlers Pool so they can join in the fun too! There is also free parking on site for 120 cars.

When is Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre open?

Opening and closing times vary from summer to winter so check the website to confirm current times.
The Outdoor Lagoon Pool is open weekends and school holidays from 10am to 5pm.

Is it accessible?

Yes. Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre has a qualified Special Needs Swimming Instructor to teach children and adults with disabilities to swim and be safe in the water. They also have a newly installed Pool Hoist Wet Wheelchair to make access to the pool even easier, and Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre honours the Queensland Government Companion Card scheme, allowing free entry to anyone accompanying a person requiring attendant care support.

Prices:

Adult entry is $5.80 (spectators $2.50), and children aged two-14 cost $4.30. Children under two years are free. You can also buy a family pass and multi-visit passes to save on the entry price – great value if you love spending your school holidays poolside!

Entry Conditions:

Children 12 years or younger must be accompanied by a person aged 18 years or over.

Anything else?

Yes, Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre can also host your child’s birthday party. Their parties are perfect for children aged 6-12 years and even come with a party host, so Mum and Dad can relax and enjoy the fun too!

  1. It is a petty the Pool is closed on sundays During winter as there is not much to to as weather is cold and it is the best day to spend with the family .
    PLEASE OPEN ON SUNDAYS .
