Chermside Pool – Heated swimming on Brisbane’s northside!

Welcome to Brisbane’s largest water park! Chermside Pool offers tremendous fun and fitness for the whole family, with indoor and outdoor pools, a truly fabulous water play park (that the kids won’t want to leave!), a kiosk and picnic areas, all set amongst beautiful tropical gardens.

What’s at Chermside Pool?

There’s a 25 metre outdoor lap pool heated to a balmy 27 degrees, a 16m indoor programs pool heated to 32 degrees, shaded lawn areas with seating, café kiosk, outdoor fitness centre, and – best of all – Brisbane’s largest water park!

… is open from the start of the September school holidays to the end of the April school holidays. It’s a world of water-play fun with twisty slides, fast slides, fountains and water dump baskets, and a gorgeous lily pad obstacle course. There’s even a mini slide for younger children to enjoy and a massive lagoon style play and paddle area. The Water Park offers plenty of shade and picnic areas so you can really make a day of it, and a kiosk is available for snacks and drinks.

Great! When is it open?

Chermside Pool is open daily from 5am on weekdays, 6:30am on weekends, and 9am on public holidays, but operates winter hours and summer hours so we recommend checking the website for current operating hours.

Chermside Water Park is open daily through the summer school holidays, and selected weekends during the winter season, subject to weather.

Is Chermside Pool accessible?

Yes, Chermside Pool has disabled access and facilities and honours the Queensland Government Companion Card scheme allowing free entry to anyone accompanying a person requiring attendant care support.

Prices:

As at February 2021: Entry prices to the pool are $5.80 per adult and $4.30 per child. Discounted family passes and multiple-entry passes are available. Non-swimmers can spectate or supervise for $2.50.

Entry to the water park (summer season only) is $16.50 for adults (aged 15+), $14.40 for children aged 6-14, and $6.60 for children aged 2-5. Children aged under two years are free, and family passes are available. Non-swimmers can spectate or supervise for $5.60.

Entry Conditions:

Children 12 years or younger must be accompanied and supervised by a person aged 18 or over. Children aged 5 years or younger must be within arms reach of a parent at all times in the water.

Anything else?

Yes, you can host your child’s birthday party at Chermside Pool with staff supervision, a selection of meal packages, and all day access to the pool.
